Internet Marketing GurusGreg Hayes The Internet marketing guru has become the epitome of success on the Internet. We all aspire to be Internet gurus making six figure incomes while doing virtually no work. Well, at least that's what some of them would have you believe. The truth is that there are only a few truly successful marketers who have worked very long and hard to get where they are today. Some of them have high standards of integrity, and some have no integrity at all. Keep in mind that the character of the marketer is just as important if not more so than his overall marketing knowledge. I've researched a multitude of Internet marketers many of which are selling worthless ebooks. These marketers use very compelling sales letters that promise six figure incomes if you just buy their $39 ebook. Some savvy marketers will throw together several old outdated ebooks and sell them as a package deal along with master resell rights. The package may even include a one page website to help you sell the product. The idea here is to entice you into buying the package with the hope of selling it along with the resell rights to someone else who in turn will try and sell it to someone else and so on and so on. Does this sound familiar? It's simply another version of the pyramid scheme. The content of these ebooks is of no importance since they're outdated anyway. The idea here is to buy the package and then resell it to someone else. Unfortunately this type marketing strategy will burn itself out in a couple months. There simply aren't enough buyers to duplicate the success of the originator. In the end, the only one who made any real money was the marketer who started it all. This type of shrewd marketer's business model is based on your failure being their success. This is not to say that all ebooks are crap. There are many excellent ebooks on the Internet. I have bought several for myself. But, simply buying an ebook will not bring you riches. You must take them for what they are: how-to information. You must use the information in the ebook to help you build your online business, just as you would use any how-to book to replace the brakes on your car, put in new kitchen counters, or prepare your favorite dish. It won't get done until you put fourth the commitment. There's also nothing wrong with purchasing an ebook with resell rights. Just make sure the ebook you buy has value and that the market hasn't already been saturated. Don't buy it simply for the purpose of reselling it. It's much easier to resell an ebook that you have actually read and like. You should also try to create a unique selling position in order to differentiate yourself from the crowd. Offer better bonuses, or even create your own products by combining reports and articles. Just make sure you give credit to the authors. Now, before you whip out that credit card to buy an ebook, make sure that there is at least a 30 day money back guarantee. Not only that, make sure that the seller includes his contact information in the sales letter in case you decide to get a refund. You might get so caught up in the sales letter, that you might not realize that there is no contact info. If the seller uses a service such as Clickbank to sell his products, then you're definitely covered. Even if the seller drops off the face of the earth, you can still get a refund through Clickbank for up to 90 days. Here you can read reviews of a few of the more successful internet marketers online today. If you're thinking of selling products or services on the Internet, their expert advice on internet marketing can help you to build a successful online business. These guys are my personal favorites based on their high level of integrity and their solid no B.S. no hype approach to Internet marketing. Bryan Winters
